ReefFlow is built Local-First. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers — because we have no servers.
Nothing. ReefFlow has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Apple's privacy label for ReefFlow is “Data Not Collected.”
All your data — tanks, parameters, dosing, livestock, diary, photos — is stored only on your device (a local SQLite database and your device's file system).
If you enable backup, ReefFlow writes a copy of your data to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive account. This transfer is between your device and your cloud provider; it never passes through ReefFlow. You can disable it at any time.
Purchases (Pro unlock and optional modules) are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. Receipts are validated on-device.
If you enable BYO AI and enter your own AI provider API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, xAI, OpenRouter, or a custom compatible endpoint), that key is stored in your device's secure keychain (never in our database, never transmitted to us). When you ask a question, your tank context and prompt are sent directly from your device to the AI provider you chose, using your key. ReefFlow does not proxy, log, or retain any of this.
You can export all your data as JSON or CSV at any time, and uninstalling the app removes all local data. Your data is yours, fully and always.
ReefFlow is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Any change to this policy will be published with the app update that introduces it.
